OHIO!

Something that always surprises the people around me is that I am a farm girl.
Yes, me, bookish, theatre kid me grew up in a very rural, very hilly, and kind of wonderful part of eastern Ohio.

Being a Buckeye, I am of course an Ohio State fan. I've never attended OSU- my degree will be coming from a different, but equally huge, university. However, as a rule, those of us born in Ohio automatically becomes an Ohio State fan. It's like a birthright. I don't  even have a shirt for the university I have attended for the past five years- but I have tons of Ohio State garb.

That's just how the scarlet and grey rolls.

Anyway- today was THE Championship game. For those of you not versed in college sports lore, the Ohio State v. Michigan Championship game is arguably THE BEST rivalry in college sports, and in football, really. It's intense. And awesome. I love when I can be back home during the game because everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, is watching.

Today, Ohio State finished an undefeated regular season, with a victory of 26-21 over Michigan. I'm far from Ohio, but I always feel close to home when my cousins and brothers and I all bond via facebook status updates. It seems ridiculous, but sometimes you have to make do.

I'm back at Coffee Bean studying, because I've managed to procrastinate EVEN MORE. I don't even KNOW how this was possible. So I got myself a scarlet colored tea.

Take the girl from the farm, but she will forever be a Buckeye.

OH-- !!!!!

On the art of procrastination

I think most people attempt to lay claim to the title "We'll think of a good title for the best procrastinator later," however, I really do think that I win. While most people wait until the day before a paper is due to write said paper, I wait until two hours before the paper is due to even start my research. It's a character flaw, but I pull it off for the most part. I work better under pressure. Or, at least that's the excuse I use.

Case and point, today. I've been putting off my classwork for far too long. So here I am spending the day working on homework. And finally registering for next semester. And following up on moving into the apartment that I looked at back in September.

Yeah.

At least when I finally buckle down to get things done I'm fairly productive, right? Right.

What you should know about me before I just dive right on into this:

I have a one-eyed cat
I'm a suuuuuuper senior at my University
I'm in love with a great guy who makes me feel like the smartest, most beautiful person alive.
I do some really weird stuff
I'm obsessed with Photobooth. It's a problem. I'm not seeking help for it.

And now I'm just going to jump right on in to posting, because I'm not very good at introductions.
Allons-y!
